Intriguing, right?! Ok, it’s not what you think.
If you’re like a lot of people that we see and work with, you know about every single diet and fad out there. Maybe you tried Atkins or South Beach back in the day? Or you’ve “gone” Keto, Paleo, Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, grain free, etc. and it worked at first but you just couldn’t stick with it. Sound familiar?
Our message for you today is this: stop overcomplicating things! K.I.S.S stands for “Keep It Super Simple” (I don’t like saying “Keep It Simple, Stupid” because you’re not stupid ;). But seriously. Keep it simple!! Over-thinking gets you no where.
When all else fails and when you’re feeling super frustrated with where you are physically, go back to the basics. Sometimes starting back at step one is the first step to moving forward and never looking back.
Being healthy and fit is not rocket science. It really isn’t! It’s about a few simple, small habits that add up to getting you great results. If you do the right things consistently, you’ll get those results and you’ll be able to maintain them.
1) Eat Whole, Minimally processed foods
2) Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water
3) Shoot for physical activity 3-4 days per week
That’s it! You can dissect each one from there, but it really is that simple. Be consistent with these simple things and you will crush it.
