You’ll get a TON of information. Mostly gimmicky diet plans and what not, or the next fitness fad. This can be a little overwhelming.
My point is, there is a lot of information out there when it comes to losing weight. It may seem like there is no hope for you. If you are like many people, you have tried everything out there- from hiring a personal trainer, to shakes, to crazy strict diets and so on. And if you’re like the majority of those people, you may not get results. Or, maybe you did get great results, but then you bounced back to where you used to be.
Well, I’m here to help you get back on track. This is as close to a magic pill you will ever get. Are you ready for the one thing you should be doing to lose weight…?
There was a study done in 2008 with 1700 participants. Those who simply wrote down what they ate and drank for 6 days a week lost 2x as much weight as those who did not.
Simple. I know.
Think of it this way: What ever gets tracked and recorded can be reviewed and improved. Even if you are not on a specific program, just the mere fact that you are recording what you eat will make you much more conscious of what you are putting into your body. Therefore, you’ll make better decisions.
Now, this is simply a 1st step. There is much that goes into writing a specific nutrition program. But, if you simply start with just recording what you eat, then you can make better choices based on your written log.
It’s not that we don’t all know what healthy food is, we just don’t make the conscious decision to eat healthy as often as we should, or think we should.
This can be started at anytime. Don’t wait till Monday, or “tomorrow” or whenever you feel is a good time to start.
